Research Professor
Regional Leading Research Center for Smart Energy System, Kyungpook National University, South Korea.
A motivated clean energy analyst that has a passion for the decarbonization of energy systems through the use of renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency measures for the sustainable development of cities across the globe. Also a building energy specialist that has a passion for building energy performance through the use of renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency measures to enhance the consumption of less water, minimize waste production, increase energy efficiency, and create a healthy living for the sustainable development of the eco-systems.
Presently working as a Research Professor under the Regional Leading Research Center for Smart Energy System, Kyungpook National University South Korea where he manages, coordinate, and execute numerous projects on the energy markets stability of developing nations through the assessment of the techno-economic and environmental sustainability of renewable energy projects that have led to the sustainable development of cities within the globe to include the risk and sensitivity analysis of energy systems using RETScreen Expert software developed by the Natural Resource Canada (NRCan). He is also working as a Senior Research Fellow with the Center for Climate Change and Development, Alex-Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AEFUNAI) Nigeria on the Nigeria Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project (DPP).
One of the 120 researchers from 18 nations across the globe working in collaboration with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab), United State of America (USA) on Cool Building Solutions for a Warming World (CBS) with the mission to identify, assess, develop, and share passive and low-energy building energy efficiency measures that help individuals and cities adapt to extreme heat.
Area of expertise at RLRC also revolves around analyzing building energy performance to include building energy audit, building energy savings, building energy management, and energy assessment of retrofitting buildings using RETScreen Expert software to track and monitor energy and water use in residential buildings leading to over 25 percent savings in water and energy consumption in Korea and Australia.
Specialized in assessing, analyzing, and developing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in developed and developing countries. He has worked on clean energy projects funded by the United Nations (UN), Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), African Development Bank (AfDB), Korean Energy Agency (KEA), Korean Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP), Natural Resource Canada (NRCan), and the Canadian Energy Ventures (CEV) International. His experiences on clean energy projects cut across North America (Canada, USA), Africa (Nigeria, Cameroon, Togo, and Ivory Coast), Australia, and Asia (South Korea) continents.
Also working as a Green Building Consultant with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) with the responsibility to model the energy performance of refortified residential buildings using the Measurement and Verification (M&V) analysis developed by the Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) after building retrofits leading to energy savings and reduction of greenhouse gases emission of energy systems and facilities.
